Das bayernweit bekannte Pilotprojekt umfasst eine Verflechtung von klein- und großflächigen Biotopsystemen, die sich alle entlang der Westlichen Günz befinden. Mit Hilfe des Programms versucht man hier die natürliche Fließgewässerdynamik zu erhalten und gleichzeitig ein funktionsfähiges Verbundsystem zu schaffen.
