Yyteri beach is the first site to get the prestigious Blue Flag environmental certification and the sands are part of an renowned Natura 2000 area. The Yyteri beach includes the beach area owned by the City of Pori, two toilet buildings, beach walkways (lanes), stairs along the beach area, the beach entrance area has a barbecue place and a parking area. The total recreational area is about 39 hectares. Yyteri is open every day of the year.

On weekdays, I would take the 34 bus from Pori city centre to Yyter Square. On weekends, the 34M and 34R lines run from the city centre to Yyteri Square. You can check timetables and routes at Public transport - City of PoriDirections
