Plémont Bay is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches on the Channel Island of Jersey.
The light sandy beach in the northwest of the island is surrounded by a rocky cliff. The beach can only be accessed at low tide, at high tide it is under water – note the tide calendar!
The rock pools filled with sea water and the shallow water in the bay make the beach an ideal destination for families. Explorers will enjoy the beautiful waterfall on the cliff and especially the many large caves to be explored in the rocks. Already a popular destination in Victorian times, Plute'mont Bay is still one of the most iconic photo spots in Jersey today.
Tip: Stop for a drink with a view at Plémont Beach Café right by the beach.
