For unrestricted bathing pleasure, a bathing wheelchair is available for free loan at the main lifeguard tower, and the lifeguards are happy to help. The entire promenade area at Baltic resort Trassenheide is level and free of steps. Handicapped accessible toilets can also be found here, as well as at the train station and in the "Haus des Gastes". The latter is equipped with an elevator for all guests. Trassenheide is well connected to the cycling and hiking trail network of the Island of Usedom and is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions. The designated bike paths are paved and invite you to explore the island. The Baltic resort has two stops of the Usedomer Bäderbahn, which also allows an accessible trip to the south of Usedom.
