Poschinger Lake

Poschinger Weiher, also known as Unterföhringer See, is located right next to the Isar surrounded by beautiful nature in the north of Munich. A big advantage of the six-hectare lake is that it is rarely crowded and very easy to reach by bike. It is particularly suitable for children, as many sections of the shore are filled with sand, making it easy to get into the lake. There is also an island in the middle of the bathing lake, which is a bird reserve. There are some sunbathing lawns with sufficient shade on the western shore, and there are also table tennis tables and a lakeside restaurant with a beer garden.

The Seewirtschaft at Poschinger Weiher has everything your heart desires, from Bavarian specialities and vegetarian options to coffee and cake. You can also bring your own snacks.
