Das Baden im Badeteich in Muldenberg ist sehr beliebt. Der ruhig am Waldrand gelegene See hat für Kinder eine Badestelle mit Sand.
Dadurch, dass das Wasser von der Talsperre ständig nachfließt und auf der anderen Seite des Sees wieder abfließt, ist das Wasser sehr kalt. Auch im Sommer bei hohen Luft-Temperaturen ist das Baden in diesem Badesee somit angenehm kühl.
In der Nähe befinden sich die Gaststätten "Flößerstube" oder "Bergschlösschen"
