Touristikgemeinschaft Odenwald
Auf der Fahrt von Ravenstein nach Rosenberg gelangt der Radler zur Gemeinschaftsarbeit von Johannes Vogl und Thomas Straub.
Ein Leuchtschild ragt 10,60 Meter hoch in die Landschaft und wird zum Träger einer ausschnitthaften Baumdarstellung. Die Fläche des Schildes wurde zunächst geschwärzt, um sie dann in Abschabtechnik mit einer Kratzzeichnung zu versehen.
In einer Momentaufnahme wird ein Detail eines Baumes fixiert, das sich als 1:1 Abbild je nach Standort des Betrachters optisch direkt in die real vorhandene Natur einfügt. Natur und Abbild stehen sich konkret gegenüber und offenbaren im Laufe der Jahreszeiten ein Moment von Veränderung und Fixierung.
Der reale Baum wird sich verändern, Blätter tragen, Äste verlieren oder eines Tages gar gefällt werden. Das Abbild in der Materialität des Schildes hingegen wird immer gleich bleiben. Selbst bei Dämmerung ist der Hinweis auf einen vergangenen Zustand präsent. Solarbetrieben wird das Schild dann in die Landschaft hinausleuchten.
