Unerwartet und kunterbunt strahlt seit Juli 2021 Kunst an der Bahnstation im Bergläger. Das Werk «GiantWings» lädt zum Staunen und Posieren ein, bietet die Chance für ein unvergessliches Erinnerungsbild. Die überdimensionalen Adlerflügel ermöglichen es dem Besucher selbst Teil vom Gemälde zu werden und sind der neue Foto-Hotspot in der Region.
Das Projekt ist in Zusammenarbeit mit dem lokalen Künstler Björn Zryd entstanden. Seine Bilder, bei denen er traditionelle Sujets auf moderne Weise interpretiert, sind weit über das Berner Oberland hinaus bekannt. Seine Intention hinter dem interaktiven Werk beschreibt er wie folgt: «Mit den GiantWings kann der Besucher sich selber als Adler fühlen und einen tollen Tag am VogellisiBerg mit einer bleibenden Erinnerung speichern. Die Adlerflügel sind die Flügel des Königs der Lüfte. Mächtig, stark, eindrücklich. Das ideale Zeichen für Freiheit, die perfekte Visualisierung für den VogellisiBerg»
