The 14 bronze bells at the Juwelier Weissbach jewellery shop play seasonally changing melodies such as folk songs and classical music four times a day.

Directly adjacent to Thalheim town hall, the bells have been ringing out different melodies since the second weekend of Advent in 2004. They weigh between 10 and 18 kg and can play 70 different pieces of music.

Opening times

The chiming can be heard daily. The melodies always sound at 10:00, 12:00, 15:00 and 17:00. Every half and full hour, the bells strike the current time.

Public transport

Near the town hall is the bus stop “Thalheim, Rathaus”, from which it is only a one-minute walk to the bells.

Directions

Thalheim is easy to reach on the B180 via the A72 exit Stollberg Nord or Stollberg West.

Parking

Opposite the bells, there is ample parking at the town hall and the Marktplatz (note: not on Fridays due to the weekly market).
