Mitten im Wendland, im kleinen malerischen Rundling Gühlitz wohnt und arbeitet Vatula Sonntag seit 2014.
Wer die alte Fachwerkscheune des “atelier nemeton“ betritt, taucht in eine Welt sinnlich abstrakter Formen.
Fein geschliffene Holzskulpturen, die berühren wollen, zum Berühren einladen. Hier darf Kunst erfasst, angefasst werden.
Die mit dem täglichen Schaffen immer wieder wechselnde Dauerausstellung zeigt plastische und bildnerische Werke aus allen Schaffensphasen des Künstlers. “Frisch Gebackenes” und im Prozess befindliches.
Gerne lässt sich Vatula Sonntag auch auf ein Gespräch ein, über seine Kunst und das Leben. Spontan, oder noch besser nach Anmeldung.
