A work of art on the wall of Leuchtenbergring, which was created during the Corona crisis to give the city more creativity and vitality.
Berg am Laim is not only developing into an innovative entrepreneurial district, but also stands out for its creativity and artistic talent: the industrial estate on Neumarkter Strasse is to be turned into a public art district. This picturesque work of art on Leuchtenbergring is a start. For this reason, artist Janine Mackenroth decorated a retaining wall there with a 300-metre-long huge mural painting made up of a wide variety of colours. This work of art was created during the Corona crisis in 2020 and required a lot of discipline, time and creativity due to the measures and initial restrictions to combat the virus.
