Un grande museo all'aperto gli splendori della SerenissimaLe ville veneziane che si incontrano lungo il corso d'acqua, a volte nascoste tra il verde, altre volte più appariscenti, con colonne e capitelli neoclassici, con leggeri portici e stucchi decorativi. Tra le più celebri, Villa Barbaro Valier (ora Battaggia) del 1500, un'altra Villa Barbaro del 1600, Villa Fanio Cervellini del 1700 in prossimità di Cendon, la quattrocentesca Villa Barbaro Gabbianelli di Lughignano fatta costruire da Caterina Cornaro come dono di nozze per una sua damigella Fiammetta, e ancora Villa Dalla Riva (ora Canzian) del '600, Villa Mantovani Orsetti e la cinquecentesca Villa Celestia.
