Die Villa Nigra im beschaulichen Ort Miasino über dem Ortasee ist ein Paradebeispiel für einen Wohnsitz der im 16. Jahrhundert hier herrschenden Aristokraten.
Heute ist die im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert kontinuierlich erweiterte und restaurierte Villa im Besitz der Gemeinde Miasino und beherbergt außerdem ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant in einem schönen Vorgarten.
