Juchée sur la roche du Halde, cachet traditionnel de Biarritz, la villa Belza avance sur l'océan telle l'étrave d'un navire. Elle est l'œuvre, aux alentours de 1880, de l'architecte Alphonse BERTRAND. C'était à l'origine un bâtiment rectangulaire auquel on ajouta 15 ans plus tard un donjon néo-moyennâgeux.

Belza, victime d'un incendie, est restée longtemps a l'abandon puis récemment a été rénovée par le promoteur Gallabert pour être vendue en appartements.
