The Tower at the top was erected by the Club Vosgien de Saverne which, chaired at the time by Mr Brachvogel, inaugurated it on 30 May 1897 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Club Vosgien.
18 metres high, it is topped by a crenellated platform accessible via a spiral staircase of 97 steps and equipped with orientation markers.
The view extends, among others, to the Grand and Petit Geroldseck Castles, the Haut-Barr Castle, Lichtenberg Castle, Grand Wintersberg in the north and to the Dabo Rock, Schneeberg and Mont Sainte-Odile in the south.
Discover it on foot from Saverne with the Tour du Brotsch hike!
You will find shelter, benches and tables to eat or rest!
