MASSIF DES VOSGES

Located in the heart of Saverne, next to the Town Hall, this 1605 house, one of the oldest in the city, was built by Henri KATZ, Receiver General of the Bishopric.

The magnificent carved half-timbered facade illustrates the German Renaissance style

Once a butcher's shop and cooperage, it now houses a restaurant: the Katz tavern.
