Fabriken, spätklassizistische Direktorenvillen und Wohngebäude:

Die Fabrikzeile ist eine Zusammenballung textiler Gebäude aus der Industrialisierungsepoche des 19. Jahrhunderts.

Das Straßenbild wird beherrscht von einem rot-gelben Gebäudetrakt (Fabrikzeile 21), der ehemaligen Mechanischen Weberei.

Eines der frühesten Arbeiter-Wohngebäude ist das U-förmige "Neue Haus" (Fabrikzeile 2 - 6b). Im Jahr 1858 wohnten hier 80 Familien.
