Feuerwehr und Alte Schule in RittersbergPhoto: Bergstadt Marienberg
Die 1897 errichtete Schule wurde 1976 geschlossen. Von 1981 bis 1986 und von 1991 bis 1993 war das Gebäude Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung. 1999 wurden in der ehemaligen Schule ein Kulturraum und die Bibliothek eingerichtet. Heute ist das Gebäude Sitz der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Rittersberg, die seit 1896 existiert und wird unter anderem auch von der Landeskirchlichen Gemeinschaft und der Klöppelgruppe genutzt, die sich im Jahr 1991 gründete.
