La Tour de Marsens est une autre tour fameuse du canton. Également importante pour l’évêque de Lausanne, qui doit l’avoir fait construire autour de 1160, elle tire son nom des seigneurs de Marsens, en Gruyères, qui prendront possession du vignoble. Reprise en logement au XVe siècle déjà, elle est restée remarquablement conservée jusqu’à nos jours. A signaler les travaux de restauration d’Albert Naef, premier archéologue cantonal, dont la famille était devenue propriétaire.
