Am Rand des Eggenbergs wurden 16 bis 20 frühmittelalterliche Gräber des 7. Jh. n. Chr. freigelegt. An Beigaben fanden sich Ketten mit Perlen aus Bernstein, Glas und Ton sowie zwei Bronzeohrringe. Bei Nachgrabungen im Areal fand man eine bronzezeitliche Fundschicht.
