Im Gemeindewald von Aesch liegt auf der Strecke des Vita–Parcours ein rund 4.400 Jahre altes Megalithgrab aus der Jungsteinzeit.
Der sogenannte Dolmen war eine einfache, rund 4 × 3 Meter große Gemeinschaftsgrabanlage ohne innere Unterteilung, in der mindestens 47 Menschen – darunter 14 Kinder – bestattet wurden. Die Grabkammer bestand ursprünglich aus 17 großen Steinplatten und war von einem bis zu 4 Meter hohen Erdhügel bedeckt.
Die Anlage wurde 1907 entdeckt und untersucht. Funde wie durchbohrte Tierzähne deuten auf eine spirituelle Nutzung hin. Die Dolmenform gehört zum Typ Schwörstadt und wird einer endneolithischen Kultur um 2.400 v. Chr. zugeordnet. Heute sind nur noch Reste der einst imposanten Struktur erhalten.
