Uno degli scorci più belli di questo percorso, un camminamento sospeso di circa 1 km, osservatorio ideale sul "cimitero dei Burci"

I burci erano e sono delle grosse imbarcazioni da carico che solcavano il Sile da e verso Venezia, dapprima trainate da animali e successivamente sospinte da motori.

Negli agli anni '70, come grandi elefanti, qui sono venuti a "morire" e con loro il trasporto fluviale sul Sile.

Oggi sono memoria storica e fonte di vita per le molte specie animali che qui, durante la primavera, trovano luogo ideale per costruire il proprio rifugio.

Anche per questo è bene percorrere questo camminamento rigorosamente con la bici a mano, senza disturbare troppo l'ambiente che ci circonda.

Directions

Per chi parte da Treviso si procede in direzione Casier. Dopo circa 7 km lungo la ciclabile del Sile (su Via Alzaia) si raggiunge il Cimitero dei Burci.
Non è possibile arrivare in auto, il parcheggio più vicino si trova presso il centro di Casier. Da qui si procede a piedi per circa 1,5 km.
