Dies war der erste bebaute Ort innerhalb der Gemeinde Constantí, 6 km außerhalb Tarragonas. Im ersten Jahrhundert war es ein Landsitz, in der zweiten Hälfte des 3. Jahrhunderts wurden die Gebäude durch neue ersetzt und zu einem Mausoleum umgestaltet.

Erwähnenswert sind vor allem die Kuppel mit Mosaiken, die Jagd- und Bibelszenen und Figuren darstellen, deren Erklärung heutzutage schwierig ist.
Die römische Stadt Centcelles zählt zum UNESCO-Welterbe.
