You experience the spectacular colours of triassic rocks on the Sardona World Heritage Trail!

The western flank of the Guli abounds with coloured rock layers from the Triassic period. At the bottom there is the yellowish-white dolomite, on top there are the red shales with grey sandstone layers in between. The entire rock package also forms a large fold that bends to the north.
