From here you can see the beautiful village of Penela, topped by its Castle.

Depending on the time of the year, the mountains are covered in different shades, ranging from green to blue, pink and yellow, in tune with the immense variety of plants and trees that can be found here.

In addition to the various noble dwellings, it is essential to visit the Natural Swimming Pools of Louçainha, climb to the top of the mountain range of St. Mary (where there is a characteristic sundial) and be dazzled by the landscapes of S. João do Deserto.

One of the most important buildings in the parish of Espinhal is the Mother Church dating from the 16th century, which stands out for its architecture and sculpture.
