Pilgrim walks in Winhöring

This route is also called the "Böhmerwald-Southeast Bavarian JW" and leads from the Schlägl Abbey briefly through Austria to Bavaria to Hohenpeißenberg, from Berbling together with a connection to Salzburg.

The section of Jakab Road 5 in southern Bavaria. Lots of asphalt, few footpaths. But finally, I found 3 unique camino signs with shells. Very beautiful. I don't know who made them, but if they read this post (or someone who knows, please pass it on): congratulations!!! I would gladly display their name here if they consent. I still have two shells at home, which I brought from Spain. Also, I will bring more during this year's Spanish tour. I would offer the creator three shells if they agree to make similar route markers from them. Reisbach has a Hungarian sister town: Magyarboly. I found out from a sign on the main square. Overall, a beautiful region.

Dieser Weg wird auch «Böhmerwald-Südostbayrische Jakobsweg» genannt und führt vom Stift Schlägl ein  Stück weit durch Österreich, um dann vor Passau den Freistaat Bayern zu erreichen und bei Hohenpeißenberg in den Münchner Jakobsweg einzubiegen, ab Berbling gemeinsam mit dem von Salzburg her kommenden Voralpinen Jakobsweg.
