3rd stage on the trail of Brother Klaus von Flüe from Liestal, where he gave up his pilgrimage, to Ranft, where he later lived as a hermit.
Aarburg, along the Tych and the Wigger to Zofingen, then along the slope to Wikon and Reiden and from there again along the Wigger to Nebikon.
20 km, 140 m ascent, 50 m descent (22 effective kilometers), 7 km asphalt

The most direct variant from Nebikon to Werthenstein via Ettiswil, past Grosswangen to Soppensee and then to the Werthenstein pilgrimage chapel - true to the motto "like pulled by dew / straight as a line".
22.7 km +206m ascent -116m descent (=25 performance kilometers) with 6 km asphalt (=18%).
At Grosswangen, 0.5 km of asphalt could be saved, but then one would have to walk 1.2 km further.
Other variants not yet tested by the author:
a) Continue along the Wigger to Schötz until shortly before Willisau where you meet the Jakobsweg and then follow it in the opposite direction to Buholz.
b) Follow the Via Gottardo via Sursee - Emmen to Lucerne
