The pilgrimage route leads us over 185 km along the path of the funeral procession of St. Boniface from Mainz to the Boniface Cathedral in Fulda. Along the way, we pass through the diverse landscapes of the Rheingau, the Wetterau, the Vogelsberg, and the Fulda region.

Bonifatius-Route Bahnhof Glauburg - Lißberg - Peter's Variante zur Bürgerstiftung in Lißberg. Ganz brav folge ich der Wegmarkierung der Bonifatiusroute - wobei dies leicht zu bewerkstelligen ist, das dieser Wegabschnitt sehr gut ausgezeichnet ist. Erst in Eckartsborn verliere ich die Markierung und stampfe querfeldein Richtung Lißberg. Ich erreiche auch das Ziel und knüpfe am nächsten Morgen ca. 1,2 km zurück an die Originalroute an. Wobei die Skulptur des Bonifatius einfach nur sehenswert ist. Nach der neuesten What3Words befindet sich die Skulptur dort => ///schlaf.findest.kürbis
