On the ridge, you enjoy a magnificent view of the Steiner Alps and Triglav. Then descend steeply on a forest path to the mercury town Idrija.
You can extend the stage by about 4 km to the hut on the Hleviška planina to shorten the next very demanding stage to Mali Golak (route description: see S10 Idrija - Mali Golak).
