High-altitude hike on the Marienweg, towards Mariazell with three ascents and two descents. Krumbach via Königsegg to Kulma - Aspang - Unternberg - Sachsenbrunn - Kirchberg am Wechsel - Rams (forest bivouac) Day stage with just under 30 km!

The Materlweg can be explored in 5 - 6 hours via Pangart (former GH Handler), Kohlreuth, Sonnberg, Prägart, Winterhof, Grub, Wieden and Hofstatt in the immediate vicinity of Edlitz in der Bucklige Welt. This hike is an "insider tip" for wonderful and varied views. In the village, the fortified church documentation provides information about an important historical aspect of the region in a creative way.

This stage of the Lower Austrian Marian Way runs from Payerbach via Reichenau, Hirschwang and Kaiserbrunn to Schwarzau im Gebirge.

The Burgenland Mariazellerweg leads through numerous towns and landscapes of the "Vienna Alps in Lower Austria".

The last stage of the Marienweg runs from Schwarzau im Gebirge via the Preintal valley into Styria to Mariazell.

Vom Hochwechsel über den Semmering  und folgend direkt über die niederösterreichische Grenze in die Steiermark in den Naturpark Mürzer Oberland. Der Pilgerweg ist eine alternative Gebirgstour, die gute Kondition erfordert. Durch Wälder und über bewirtschaftete Almen gelangt man nach Mariazell.
