Pilgrimage on the Kinzig Valley Way of St. James

7 daily stages between 16 and 22 km - with a total distance of 127 km and 3,700 meters of elevation, the Kinzigtäler Jakobusweg crosses the Black Forest along the Kinzig from east to west in one of the most beautiful river valleys. The path leads through picturesque small towns from Loßburg to Kehl. The Kinzigtäler Jakobusweg is an approximately 100 km long section of the world-famous Way of St. James. It offers beautiful viewpoints, varied landscapes from the Black Forest to the foothill zone with vineyards, natural monuments, historic old towns, cultural and geological sights, churches, monasteries, and chapels.

Coming from the Kinzig Valley, the pilgrim enters the ZweiTälerLand and now walks over 27 kilometers through the Elz Valley, guided by the marking sign of the yellow shell on a blue background. Afterwards, the pilgrimage route continues towards Freiburg.
