Pilgrim walks in Molsheim

The Way of Saint James of Compostela in Alsace connects Wissembourg to Belfort. Inaugurated on Saint James' Day, July 25, 2003, marked by the Club Vosgien associations throughout the route, it forms the link ensuring continuity between Northern and Eastern Europe at the gates of Franche-Comté where the trail continues to Belfort via Bellemagny for a total of 275 km of long-distance hiking.

The Alsace Pilgrimage Way should actually have been called "Pilgrimage Way Grand Est" since 2016, but traditions live long. The route leads from Strasbourg to Thann, where it connects with routes from Freiburg i.B. and Basel heading west.

Von Molsheim Richtung Südwest, den klassischen Pilgerweg, am Ende mit langem Aufstieg auf einem Weg mit viel Steinen. Die Anstrengung wird mit einem schönen Kloster mit wunderbarer Aussicht belohnt.
