San Luca, a small hamlet of Molare, is situated at about 500 meters above sea level, immersed in the green of the Alta Valle Orba, on the border with the Liguria region, and its center is represented by the ancient little church, around which over the years a series of scattered houses and farmhouses have arisen; in the small village there is an active Pro Loco.

Trail 531 is a long route, created on the occasion of the Jubilee of 2000 by the Acqui Terme section of the Italian Alpine Club, which connects the spa town to Tiglieto and from there reaches, with two different directions, the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia and the Ligurian Sea.
The route is dedicated to Bruno Buffa, a deceased member of the Acqui CAI who was one of the creators of the path.
Below is illustrated the section up to the town of Tiglieto; to reach the final destinations it is necessary to refer to specific maps related to the Ligurian territory.
