    Schöne kurze Etappe auf guten Wegen. Man läuft immer den Thüringer Wald entgegen und kann meist das Panorama genießen. Ein kleiner Abstecher mit der Tram nach Waltershausen bietet sich an um die Barockkirche zu besichtigen, allerdings unbedingt Öffnungszeiten vorher ermitteln (bei mir war geschlossen!). Durch den Wald erreicht man Friedrichroda und ist somit schon mitten im Thüringerwald angekommen.
