Pilgrim trails in Göming

The "St. Rupert Pilgrimage Route" is located in the border area between Bavaria and Salzburg and runs essentially from north to south. One variant passes through Bad Reichenhall, thereby offering a connection to the Way of St. James.

Oberndorf-Haunsberg - Obermödlham-Waldprechting-Seekirchen The parish church of St. Nicholas in Laufen is a nice starting point, then it goes through forests and meadows to the Haunsberg to the Kaiserbuche. From this hill near the Kaiser Chapel, there is a wonderful view of the Salzburg lake district and the mountains of the Salzkammergut. The stage is also recommended as a day route due to the good connection to the regional train.
