Pilgrim walks in Chartres

Route: Chartres - Le Coudray - Morancez - Ver-lès-Chartres - Houdouenne - Villemain - Fresnay-le-Comte - Le Gault-Saint-Denis

Route: Gallardon - Champseru - Gasville-Oisème - Chartres

Beautiful stage departing from Chartres, the entire beginning of the route runs alongside the Eure, then varied landscapes and some road cycling as well. No rain or very little and even some nice sunshine in the afternoon. 👍

Still under threatening weather, landscapes with little variation between plains and woods. A few small villages crossed without much activity even though it is Sunday. The Charles cathedral is a bit like Mt Saint Michel, you can see it from afar but it takes time to get closer, especially on foot.
