A hilly landscape to explore, just a few steps from Vicenza: the Berici Hills are full of surprises.

From one UNESCO site to another, from a jewel to a pearl.

The second leg of the western route climbs to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Monte Berico. It enters the grounds of Villa Bedin Aldighieri and follows dirt roads and trails all the way to Sant’Agostino. You’ll have to grit your teeth on the road to Altavilla, because there are no alternatives. Halfway up the hillside, offering sweeping views of the plain, it approaches Montebello Vicentino.

altra porzione dell alta via dei Berici. Partendo da Perarolo, si percorre l'alta via con un piccolo sconfinamento fino a Brendola che si può tranquillamente evitare accorciando il giro. Vi consiglio comunque, quando siete alla Rocca dei Vescovi di scendere giù 500 metri e visitare il sito in ricordo della grande guerra, soprattutto se avete bambini, a loro piacerà sicuramente.
