Tackle the highest pass on any of the Camino variants that cross the Pyrenees, the Port de Bucharo at 2270m. This route through the Hautes-Pyrénées "Vallée des Gaves" starts in the pilgrimage town of Lourdes and heads south towards Gavarnie before crossing the Bucharo pass and descending to St Nicolas de Bujaruelo, 1000m below.
