Pilgrim walks in Allensbach

The Ulrikaweg follows the footsteps of the Blessed Sister Ulrika and leads from her residence Obestadion in Upper Swabia to the Hegne Monastery at Lake Untersee, where she is buried.

The 6th stage leads from Salem Castle to Hegne Monastery, the destination of the Ulrikaweg.

From the Brunnengasse railway crossing in Allensbach, this variant leads over the Reichenau Island to the church of St. Martin in Wollmatingen, continuing along Litzelstetter Straße; at the end of Wollmatingen, connection to the Hegau Jakobsweg.

Pilgrimage following the footsteps of the blessed Sister Ulrika Nisch

In May 2021, a new pilgrimage route called the Ulrikaweg was opened, leading from Unterstadion in Upper Swabia to Lake Constance and the Hegne Monastery. The 124-kilometer route, divided into six stages, begins at St. Ulrika Church in Unterstadion and passes through Mittelbiberach (the birthplace of Sister Ulrika), Steinhausen, Sießen Abbey, Illmensee, and Salem to Überlingen, and from there by boat across the lake to its destination, Hegne Abbey.

Pilgerweg der Beuroner Jakobspilger-Gemeinschaft vom Kloster Wald südlich von Messkirch über Stockach-Markelfingen nach Konstanz, markiert mit dem gelben neunstraligen Stern auf blauem Grund. Der Weg veräuft auf weiten Strecken parallel zum Bodensee-Wanderweg, der vom Schwarzwaldverein betreut wird.
