Winter tours

Experience the winter mountains of Hardangervidda up close with a hands-on adventure designed to make you feel confident and safe outdoors. Wide-open landscapes, low winter sun, and endless views create a sense of freedom—but the winter mountains can also feel unpredictable.

We offer winter tours on request for anyone who wants to enjoy the wilderness while learning the skills to travel safely on their own. This is not a classroom course, and it’s not just a ski trip. It’s a practical outdoor experience where learning happens in real conditions. You’ll practice making decisions, discuss choices, and understand why certain routes or moves make sense.

Winter adventures always carry some risk, but the right knowledge and experience make it much safer. The program can be adjusted depending on weather or snow, because learning to travel safely is part of the experience.

If you’ve ever thought, “I should feel more confident before heading into the winter mountains,” this is the chance to make it happen.
An adventure that gives you the experience. A course that gives you confidence.
