(Almost) everything in Rheinfelden revolves around these ingredients. On a culinary tour of the town, a leisurely boat trip and a guided tour of the salt works, you will experience a potpourri of experiences that appeal to all the senses.
Go on a culinary journey through the old town with the city guides. In addition to the winding alleyways and unknown corners, they will tell you all about Rheinfeld's long beer tradition. In between, you will enjoy an aperitif, starter and main course in three different restaurants.
After a short break, take the boat towards Basel. While you pass through a lock and watch the beautiful landscape pass by, you enjoy a delicious dessert and a coffee.
After an hour on the Rhine, immerse yourself in the world of salt in Schweizerhalle. Take a tour of the salt works in Pratteln to find out where salt comes from and where it is used.
Round off your excursion with an aperitif on the beautiful Rhine terrace of the Salt Museum or return to Rheinfelden for an overnight stay, where you can also enjoy the healing effects of salt in the brine baths of the EDEN Solebad or the sole uno wellness world.

Rheinfelden city bus (Südbadenbus): The Rheinfelden city bus connects the two towns of Rheinfelden (Baden) and Rheinfelden (Switzerland) every half hour. It serves the railroad stations and the most important residential areas on both sides of the Rhine and you can find the timetable under the following link: Südbadenbus

By car: From Basel, take the Rheinfelden West exit.
By car: Cars can park in the rear part of the Schützen parking lot near the old town. Chargeable parking times: Mon. - Fri. 08.00 - 20.00 / Sat. 08.00 - 17.00 Maximum parking time: no restriction
The tourist office is located in the town office in the town hall, centrally located on Marktgasse.
