Papa Moll is all upset - his dog Tschips has disappeared. Help him find it and secure a reward! You'll learn lots of interesting facts about the sights and history of Bad Zurzach along the way. The Papa Moll trail is a scavenger hunt, so we can't tell you the way.
Start and finish
Bad Zurzach Tourismus AG (at the Therme Zurzach). Here you can buy the puzzle booklet, which is your ticket for the Papa Moll trail. You will then receive your finder's reward at the finish.

approx. 2-2.5 h (pure walking time)
This is how it works:
To find Tschips, you have to solve 15 riddles. You will find the puzzle questions in the booklet, which you will receive at the start in the tourist office. You can only answer the questions if you set off on the Papa Moll trail. Follow the route descriptions. You will pass the riddle posts, "built" and "natural". You will find the clues to the solution at the puzzle posts.
Once you have solved all the puzzles correctly, you can work out the "activation code" for the finder's reward. This is calculated from all the solutions. You can redeem the activation code for a small gift at the finish. In addition, various Papa Moll articles await you in the Bad Zurzach Tourismus shop.
Further information
The Papa Moll trail can be solved alone by children aged 14 and over, with help also for children aged 7 and over. The trail is suitable for pushchairs.

The Papa Moll trail is open all year round. You can start whenever the tourist office is open.
Please book for larger groups and school classes.
Public transport
The start of the Papa Moll trail (at Bad Zurzach Tourismus AG) is a 5-10 minute walk from the railway station. If you don't want to walk, the "Zurzi Bus" will also take you from the railway station to us and back free of charge (bus stop "Bad Zurzach, Thermalbad"). You can find the timetable for the free bus here.
Directions
You can reach Bad Zurzach from Baden in 25 minutes, from Zurich or Kloten Airport in 35 minutes, from Schaffhausen in 40 minutes, from Basel in 60 minutes, from Lucerne in 70 minutes and from Bern in 90 minutes.
Parking
Car parking is available at the thermal spa:
- The car park is open 365 days a year, around the clock
- There are 400 uncovered parking spaces available
- Guests of the Therme Zurzach pay a car park fee of CHF 1 per hour
- A short footpath takes you to the main entrance
