The Bamberg nativity scene route is a rewarding excursion for the whole family during the Advent season and between the years. Stories are told there as life writes them!

Without, however, giving up our distant hiking goal Garmisch-Partenkirchen and then the crossing of the Alps completely. Or almost infinitely prolonging the path in and over the Alps. And this risk exists with about 300 Franconian breweries... So a longer detour through Beer Franconia - sampling, comparing and enjoying at every turn!Only on 2 x 2 feet you can’t collect tastings, carry them with you and then fairly compare against each other in a blind tasting. Instead, we invent and determine on the Hans & Thomas Way through the beer-Franconian landscape and its brewery pubs our BIERFRÄX®, the Beer-Franconian Brewery-Beer-Price-Index.

The hike in the Steigerwald near Bad Windsheim shows woodruff, Adonis flowers, and pasture forests. Everything blooms especially beautifully in May – the best time for this tour.

The Steigerwald Circuit "Three Forests Trail" invites you to a scenic and varied area with breathtaking views.

A discovery journey through beautiful nature to a Way of the Cross and a forest full of legendary wooden figures.

On its nearly 6 kilometers, the family-friendly but not stroller-accessible adventure trail brings young and old explorers closer to the habitats of stream, meadow, and forest at seven adventure stations and two information pavilions. In between, play options such as a climbing wall made of sandstone blocks, a tree labyrinth, a forest zip line, and a tree mikado offer plenty of variety and activity. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
