On the extensive circuit through the Pfronten moorlands, you can experience the moor in a different light: as a fascinating habitat with many hidden natural treasures.

What is the story behind the legends surrounding the Aggenstein and the Venedigermännlein? Did these figures really exist? On the new Jewel Route at Aggenstein, you will join the Pfronten boy Magnus in searching for the treasures of these Venedigermännlein. Along the way, in addition to the great view, there are stations that invite you to interact and test your dexterity.

This hike leads from the Indian playground in the Vils valley, through Allgäu mountain forest to the popular Edelsberg hut (formerly Gundhütte) – with the Pfronten Outdoor app you can also play audio files along the way and listen to an exciting story. 

On the small route through the Pfronten Moor, you can discover this species-rich habitat right in the middle of the Pfronten Valley. Information boards, boardwalks, and a lookout tower offer new perspectives for both young and old explorers.
