    Ich bin den Großen Arber in den Osterferien 2014 zwei mal angegangen, und bin der Meinung, dass der Aufstieg doch bereits alpinen Charakter hat. Gute Kondition und brauchbare Bergschuhe sind ein Muss. Beim ersten Aufstieg war Schnee gefallen, und am Gipfel bin ich in einer tiefen Schneewächte stecken geblieben. Ausserhalb der Hochsaison kann man hier die Stille und Abgescheidenheit der Bergwelt des Bayerischen Waldes geniessen.
