The first day (ATG4-28 of the entire stages) starts with using the regional train – free of charge if you get the Trentino Card at the hotel. The route (14 km) from Lavis station takes about 30 minutes along roads and past orchards (apples, grapes), then through forest with a better climate. Here, on the way up, is already the first helpful, secured spot with a cable. Santel is a mountain biker paradise, which is handled considerately and can also be explored by hikers, as well as offering a first view of the Brenta. We arrive at the well-maintained winter sports resort Andalo.
