Eingebettet in einem romantischen Tal und umgeben von ausgedehnten Wäldern liegt die Jugendherberge in Sayda. Besonders für Erholungs- und Entspannungssuchende, aber auch Wanderfreunde, Radsportler und Winterfans ist die Jugendherberge der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. Radreisende haben hier die Möglichkeit unmittelbar an der Blocklinie zu nächtigen und von dort aus die gut beschilderte Bike-Strecke durch die wunderschöne Landschaft des Osterzgebirges zu bestreiten.
Bei schlechtem Wetter kann sich in der Mehrzweckhalle bei Spiel und Ort die Zeit vertrieben werden. Wer es lieber etwas ruhiger angehen möchte, kann in der Bastelwerkstatt kreativ werden oder sich in der Herberge auf die Spuren Japans und der Deutsch-Japanischen Jugendbegegnung begeben.
