Nestled in a peaceful valley, this 17th-century house has the foothills of the Alvão and Marão Mountains as its background, as well as the Chapel of Our Lady of Grace, which crowns the summit of a hill on the opposite bank of the river Tâmega. This is a transition area in which the Minho and Trás-os-Montes regions harmoniously begin to merge.
