Der Löwen in Hemberg hat eine traditionsbehaftete Geschichte: In den 50er Jahren war das Gasthaus eine weitherum bekannte Metzgerei, Gaststätte und Militärunterkunft. Dann wurde es Ende des letzten Jahrhunderts etwas ruhiger um das stattliche Gebäude. Inzwischen ist der Löwen mit sehr viel Liebe und Sorgfalt renoviert worden, ohne dabei seinen ursprünglichen Charme zu verlieren. Seit Winter 2018 führen wir als gastronomische Quereinsteiger das Gasthaus Löwen. Unsere Vorstellung einer heimeligen und urchigen Beiz, vereint mit einer regionalen und kulinarisch hochstehenden Küche, können wir hier jeden Tag verwirklichen! Dabei hilft die ganze Familie mit, vom Koch über die Grafikerin bis zur Kafiguezli-Lieferantin sind fast alle Angestellten aus dem familiären Umkreis. Auch musikalische Anlässe sind ein fester Bestandteil der Löwen-Philosophie. Monatlich stattfindende Ländlerkonzerte sind für uns als Gastgeberfamilie Höhepunkte im Wirtealltag.
