Stress-free holidays for the whole family at 1,800m above sea level in the midst of the incomparable panorama of the Southern Alps! You can easily reach us via a well-developed scenic road that is 12 km long.
In our family-run mountain hotel, you will feel at home right away.
The 120m² large sauna area offers you a traditional sauna, a sanarium (steam sauna), and an infrared cabin for your relaxation after a varied day of vacation. We also offer a solarium and massages. All our rooms are equipped with satellite TV, free internet access, and Wi-Fi!
From the house to the slopes - and then pure mountain hut magic in the rustic alpine atmosphere or relaxing in the sauna landscape.
And even in summer, you can let your soul dangle and leave everyday life behind with us at Emberger Alm. Right next to our hotel, you will find wonderfully blooming and fragrant alpine meadows for a picnic or for "Brettelrutschen," which is especially loved by children. We would be happy to make you special offers for hikers, paraglider and hang-glider pilots, as well as hobby astronomers.
Free shuttle service for house guests!
In addition to the offerings of the sports school, we offer a guided family hike with our chef Wolfgang once a week. Due to the high altitude (1,800m), we are also a hidden gem for allergy sufferers.
Our team also pampers you with specialties from Carinthia, and of course also with international cuisine. Look forward to the "Emberger Alm cheese soup," homemade "Carinthian noodles," or Kaiserschmarren according to Grandma Loisl's recipe. Not to forget our trout from our own breeding and the homemade pastries!
Come as a guest and leave as a friend!
